HERE’S THE DEAL…
As you probably know, the Elk River Alliance restores ecosystems and monitors water quality and quantity. So far, we’ve relied on employee vehicles to conduct our fieldwork.
In the last two months two of our main vehicles have broken.
In 2024, ERA monitored 11 sites for water quality, 5 sites for water quantity, and 19 sites for temperature. We planted 8000+ trees and installed 1.5 km of fencing. To do this work we travel along resource roads, haul trailers, and drive through difficult terrain. Last year our employees put over 15,000 km on their personal vehicles. Continuing to use personal vehicles is no longer feasible.
Our field season is coming up and ERA needs a reliable vehicle to continue doing conservation work.
