HELP RESTORE COTTONWOOD FORESTS
The Elk River Alliance has been working hard to prepare for fall planting season, and we need your help. Between Nov 7-9th, we will need extra hands to collect livestakes and plant them at the Morrissey Meadows Restoration Site. We hope to see you there!

2 Daily Sessions: 9 AM-12 PM & 1PM-4PM
Collection involves going into cottonwood tree groves, cutting 6ft livestakes, and bringing them to a water source so they can soak prior to planting. Please wear work appropriate clothing you don’t mind getting wet or dirty, and bring a lunch if you plan to stay for the day. Snacks will be provided. If you own a favourite set of large clippers, please bring them!

Please be careful when crossing the highway lane to reach the gated entrance. If you miss the exit, continue until you reach a pull-off on your right hand side and turn around.
